Students booking trips to study at Greenwich English College will be excited to know that they will save up to 5% on what they expected to pay. As of today (20th Oct 2014) The Australian dollar has fallen again against most major currencies and is now down to US$0.87.
That means that course fees, flights, accommodation and other travel expenses will be about 5% less than they were just a month ago. After being as high as US$1.07 back in 2012, the Australian dollar was down to US$0.93 for quite a while and then fell another 5 cents in late September.
Students thinking about making a booking should apply and pay soon though. Who knows when the dollar will bounce back in today's ever-changing money markets.
