Dear Student,
Thank you for your patience and support as we temporarily transition our students learning to an online platform.
Some key points at this time:
1. WE ARE OPEN
Greenwich College remains OPEN to new enrollments. We are accepting students for both ELICOS and VET courses, with both operating at 100% with online delivery until Monday 6th April (unless advised otherwise by the Australian Government).
2. AUSTRALIAN BORDER CLOSURE
The Australian border will be closed to non-citizens from 9:00pm on Friday 20th March. There is no fixed time frame for the border to reopen, but we expect 4-8 weeks.
3. STUDENTS YET TO COMMENCE THEIR COURSE
Any student impacted by the border closure, international travel bans or possible personal exposure to COVID-19 will be given a penalty-free deferral up to 6 months from their planned commencement date.
Students must select a date for the revised commencement date, and may be reviewed and extended further in exceptional circumstances where COVID-19 continues to reasonably prevent a student from undertaking their studies.
Following the deferral period, any student whose personal circumstances result in them not being able to reasonably defer their commencement date will have their course cancellation approved without penalty.
4. GREENWICH COLLEGE ONLINE LEARNING
Our teachers/trainers will email or get in contact with our students today or over the weekend to introduce themselves. By Monday morning, students will receive another email from their teachers with information on how to join their class and a guide to using Zoom and Google Drive. 5. CURRENT STUDENT ENROLLMENTS
Students wanting to make changes to their current enrollment will be subject to existing terms and conditions. Changes to enrollments will need to be requested using existing forms and processes.
