Dear Student,
The Victorian Government has announced a further ease of restrictions effective from today, Monday 9 November.
- 25km travel limit lifted;
- 'Ring of steel' separating regional and metro Victoria removed;
- Two visitors from different households plus dependents allowed in your home per day, either together or separately;
- Gyms and libraries reopen under strict guidelines;
- Restaurant and cafe capacity increased;
- Cinemas, music halls, concert halls and auditoriums, galleries, museums an State Library of Victoria will open for a maximum of 20 people per space;
- Accommodation open, but each group booking is restricted to: only members of a single household or intimate partners; OR only members of a single household plus two adults (from any household and any of their children or dependents);
Please note that the following rules still apply:
- If you can work/study from home, you must work/study from home; and
- A mask must be worn at all times outside the home.
We know that many of you want to return to face-to-face teaching and we hope this will be soon.
