As you may know, there has been an increase in COVID-19 cases in Victoria and the government has placed stage 3 restrictions in 12 suburbs.

These suburbs are:

• 3012 (Brooklyn, Kingville, Maidstone, Tottenham, West Footscray)
• 3021 (Alban Vale, Kealba, Kings Park, St Albans)
• 3032 (Ascot Vale, High Point City, Maribyrnong, Travancore)
• 3038 (Keilor Downs, Keilor Lodge, Taylors Lakes, Watergardens)
• 3042 (Airport West, Keilor Park, Niddrie)
• 3046 (Glenroy, Hadfield, Oak Park)
• 3047 (Broadmeadows, Dallas, Jacana)
• 3055 (Brunswick South, Brunswick West, Moonee Vale, Moreland West)
• 3060 (Fawkner)
• 3064 (Craigieburn, Donnybrook, Mickleham, Roxburgh Park and Kalkallo)
• 3031 (Flemington, Kensington) 
• 3051 (North Melbourne)

This means people who live in these  areas are only allowed to leave their homes for:

• Shopping for food and supplies,
• care and caregiving,
• exercise,
• and study or work 

It is very important that students living in these suburbs follow these restrictions for everyone’s safety. Police will be issuing fines to anyone who breaks the rules. 

The College will continue with our current blend of face-to-face and online classes, but as Greenwich College places the health and well-being of its students and staff of the utmost importance, the following Government rules and guidelines must be followed, so we can continue to have classes on campus.

PLEASE NOTE STUDENTS WHO DO NOT FOLLOW  THESE GUIDELINES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE CAMPUS IMMEDIATELY.  

• Ensure a distance of at least 1.5 metres is kept between yourself and others
• Do not move any chairs/furniture on the campus
• Always follow staff instructions
• Use antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer provided around all campuses
• Wash hands frequently 
• Follow all signs on campus
• All students to be at school on time and leave the premises immediately after class finishes
• Seating in break out areas (Lunch areas) is limited to enforce social distancing
• Do not go to different levels of the campus or classrooms unless absolutely necessary
• Please follow your break times and return to your classroom on time
• If you do have any flu-like symptoms, please do not come to class / leave class immediately and go and get tested - you must provide evidence of a negative result before returning to school
