Dear Student,

Greenwich English College is pleased to remind you of our full return to campus for face-to-face English language classes from 2nd of November 2020. We thank you for your patience and are excited to be back!

 

 

Please note the following:


DAY Classes

Friday IELTS testing: On campus

Friday Cambridge testing: Online

 

EVENING Classes

Mon–Thurs all classes: On campus

Friday GE classes: On campus

Friday IELTS testing: On campus

Friday Cambridge testing: Online

 

Extra Classes

GE Day Friday Electives: Online

Speaking Club: Online

Cambridge Club: Online

 

NB Just two courses – EAP and English for Business – will continue with blended (virtual + campus) course delivery across our Sydney and Melbourne campuses.

 

 

You will receive an email this Friday confirming your campus, classroom and timetable for next week.

 

It is important to note that the campuses will still operate safely and in full compliance with social distancing measures and recommendations from the NSW Government. Greenwich English College will continue to prioritise student and employee safety and well-being and will operate responsibly and in full compliance with Government directives and health authority guidelines while pandemic conditions remain a risk.

Please pay attention to the following important Government rules and guidelines that must be followed to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff when on campus:

  • Ensure a distance of at least 1.5 metres is kept between yourself and others.
  • Antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer are provided around all campuses.
  • Wash hands frequently.
  • Use stairs only – do not use the lifts.
  • Always follow the one-way system around the campus.
  • Students may only use facilities on the floor where their class is being delivered. 
  • Do not move chairs or furniture. 
  • Follow all signs that show the maximum number of people in a room or area.
  • Download the COVID app: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covidsafe-app
  • All students to be at school on time and leave the premises immediately after class finishes.
  • After heating your food, do not stay in the kitchen area – please return to your classroom to eat.
  • Do not use sinks for any food scraps – this blocks the pipes.
  • If you have any flu-like symptoms, please do not come to class / leave class immediately and go and get tested. You must then send your test result to syd@greenwichcollege.edu.au before you can return to class.
  • Always follow teacher and staff instructions.
