Thank you for your support and patience as we have been managing the challenging COVID-19 impacts on all of our lives. We have been closely monitoring Australia’s progress in reducing COVID-19 pandemic shut-down measures.

Please note that all Greenwich Management College (GMC) classes will continue to be delivered in our online Virtual Learning Environment until the end of Term 3 (ending on 20 June 2020).

Greenwich English College (GEC) intends to re-open its campuses for face-to-face English language classes from Monday 15 June 2020, the campus will only open for English language classes at this stage.

We are making this decision to gradually re-open our campuses after careful consideration of advice from the Australian Government and relevant health authorities, and we will implement a range of specific hygiene measures and practices to ensure that our campuses are safe for students and staff.

GRADUAL CAMPUS RE-OPENINGS

We will implement the following measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of our students, teachers and support staff:

Social distancing and personal hygiene measures to be enforced throughout our campuses – in classrooms and in common areas.
Student counselling will continue to be delivered by online videoconferencing tools for the time being.
Students will have only limited access to communal spaces around the campus.
All other social and group activities will either remain online or will be suspended until we are advised it is safe to re-commence them.
Reduced lift access to campus premises to ensure social distancing.
Anti-bacterial wipes and sprays will be available throughout the campuses.
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the campuses.
Additional cleaning services will operate in all campuses while pandemic circumstances continue.

It is important to realise that it is not yet safe for anyone to return to ‘business as usual’ and operate in the same way that they did before the COVID-19 pandemic. Greenwich will continue to operate responsibly and in full compliance with Australian Government directives and health authority guidelines while the pandemic circumstances continue.

As noted above, GMC courses and students will remain in our online Virtual Learning environment for the remainder of Term 3. We will contact all students in the coming weeks to share the return to campus action plan for GMC.
