Thank you for your patience and understanding as we temporarily transition your learning to an online platform.
Greenwich Management has chosen Zoom and the current student learning platform, GOALS/CANVAS for online delivery.
ZOOM
It’s easy and can be done on a computer, tablet or even a phone!
- All students will receive an email from their teacher with a link to the class.
- Download the app shared by your teacher.
- Click on the link and you are ready to go!
Zoom is an interactive platform and allows teachers and students to:
- Video chat
- Share their screens (presentations, video clips, etc.)
- Share files
- Participate in group chats
- “Raise their hand” → it’s easy to ask questions!
- Participate in polls
- Move into smaller groups and pairs to practise language/share ideas → these are called breakout rooms and the teacher can monitor each group individually
- Write on a “whiteboard”
- Assess/be assessed on the practical elements or skills to be deemed competent for that particular unit
GOALS/CANVAS
Learner guides and powerpoint presentations, assessment templates are already supplied via GOALS/CANVAS, so students will be able to access them. Assessments will be submitted as per normal.
Our online delivery is engaging and interactive.
TIMETABLES
Your timetable and class start times will be the same as they were prior to the switch to online delivery.
SKILLS CLASSES
Students will be able to make appointments with our experienced skills trainers to get individual support. Trainers' emails will be provided to all Greenwich Management students prior to online course commencement.
