Meals for $10 or less in Sydney

Student budgets can be hard. Saving money in Sydney can be harder. And we all love to eat. Luckily, we’ve got a list of the top places to eat for $10 or less around Greenwich English College’s campus.

Soda Factory

Just a short walk from the campus is the funky bar, Soda Factory, every Tuesday from 5pm you can get hot dogs for $1! The Dollar Dog special includes beef, Frankfurter, chicken and even dessert hot dogs. If you find yourself here on a Wendesday night, you can enjoy a bucket of fried chicken for $10 as well as hot wings for $1 each.

Chubby Girl's Bunz Shop

A short distance from Central station is the home of delicious handmade dumplings and noodles by Chubby Girl’s Bunz Shop. The cheapest meals, though, are the lamb and cumin buns and hot beef buns for $1.50 each.

The Norfolk

Every Tuesday night, this Surry Hills bar serves a delicious range of tacos for $3 each. If you really love your tacos, why not take the taco challenge: eat 10 tacos in 1 minute and you get all your tacos FREE! The Norfolk also has $5 drinks and cheeseburgers, from 5pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Harry’s Café de Wheels
