Academic English Preparation (AEP) introduces students to English in an academic context. It focuses on improving academic reading, essay writing and presentation skills.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for intermediate-level English students who are looking for an intensive academic English program to prepare for success in further study.

Completing this course will provide a pathway to a diploma program at some of Australia’s best colleges. It also allows you to continue to our English for Academic Purposes course - which will prepare you for further study at University.

  • Understand spoken English in conversations, discussions and lectures
  • Speak clearly and confidently in English in front of a group
  • Write well-structured and formatted paragraphs of various types
